University of Ferrara – A new profession is born in the national field of cosmetics. The training course for Qualified Cosmetic Representative of Unife is underway
Signed the Convention for the implementation of Training course for Qualified Cosmetic Informer (ICQ®) between the'University of Ferrara, the private training institution Certain Thesis srl. And Cosmetics Italy – Unipro Servizi srl , the association representing companies that are part of the national cosmetics system.
As explained by Prof. Stefano Manfredini, President of the School of Pharmacy and health products of Unife, "The ICQ® course for cosmetic sales representatives forms a professional profile in the cosmetic sector that can be considered an equivalent of a scientific sales representative of the drug, a specialized employee similar, to all intents and purposes, to a popularizer of the cosmetic product".
“The ICQ® course for cosmetic sales reps – continues Manfredini – it is ideally aimed at those in possession of a high school diploma and aims at an intermediate training to that of a short degree course. The educational proposal, unprecedented in the national academic and cosmetic panorama, arises from the evaluation of the training gap between the figures of pharmacist and cosmetologist (highly specialized) and those of professional beautician and hairdresser, currently operating in the sector. In fact, there is a complete lack of intermediate professionals, i.e. qualified operators capable of informing, presenting and disseminating international cosmetic production on the market using scientific preparation. The objective of the course therefore aims to fill this professional gap, with a highly innovative professionalizing path, which uses academic training methods".
The course for cosmetic sales representatives (limited number, with possible selection, if the maximum limit of 40 subscribers) will start roughly in the next one October, in the prestigious setting of Cloister of S. Maria delle Grazie (via Fossato di Mortara, 17/19 – Ferrara), in the premises intended for teaching and laboratory activities
